Congratulations to Sixology for winning the YAMAHA ASIAN BEAT National Finals.

Sixology will be representing Singapore in the Grand Championship next year at Hong Kong.

Dear all,

With great pride I would like to announce that
Sixology has successfully clinched
the Asian Beat Championships '08 last Saturday.

EH Bands has set yet another milestone in the musical arena
and will definitely continue to do so.
Congratulations to Eusoff and Sixology.

This is indeed a huge achievement beyond our wildest imaginations.
We would never expect to outdo 9 other professional bands
to represent Singapore in the Grand Championships next year.
We will do everything with our abilities to do Singapore proud.

Here's what we have accomplished:-

We wrote, composed, and arranged 2 original songs together in a matter of weeks:

"Stand" - Written and Composed by Kim, Arranged by Sixology (Performed for Heats)
"Live Like We're Dying Tonight" - Written by Sarah Yap & Michael Wan, Composed by Michael Wan, Arranged by Sixology. (Performed for Finals)

Braved through the Asian Beat Heats
on 23rd of November amidst the final exams.
Topped 70 other bands including veterans and professionals
to emerge the Top 10 to compete in the Finals.
We were the youngest band lineup in the finals
Being the only full NUS/Hall band to ever reach this far in the Yamaha Asian Beat Championships
Swept the Top 3 awards:
1. Best Keyboardist Award
2. Best Song Composition Award
3. Yamaha Asian Beat 2008 Grand Prix Champion
Finally, we will be representing Singapore to compete against
other champions from South Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia,
Taiwan and others for the Grand Championships
in Hong Kong, February next year.

I would like to take this opportunity to send our heartiest thanks
to all those who have supported us not just in presence,
but in spirits and hopes as well.
We could never have done it without
our greatest supporters: family, friends and mentors.
You all know who you are.

I hope that people realise that it is not just Sixology's win.
Everyone has been part of this - from the video/photographers
to the people who sent well wishes to the band.
We could never, ever have done this without you.
