Eusoff Committees in a Nutshell

AudioWorks

Handles the hall’s audio equipment and lights for hall events be it internal (Function Hall/Dining Hall) or external

Auditors

Manages the respective committees inventories for the entire hall calendar

Cultural Events Management Committee (CEMC)

Organises events to raise the cultural awareness of hall residents as well as being the support group for the Performing Arts Groups.

Dance Production (DP)

Produces a production which integrates drama, dance and music in aid of Eusoff’s Bursary.

Dinner and Dance (DnD)

Organises a gala dinner to cap the end of academic year.

External Relations Committee (ERC)

Handles operations during Eusoff Open House and manages alumni relations.

Mediagraphy wing of Eusoff Hall. Consists of four wings - Photography, Videography, IT and Digital Media Management EusoffWorks strives to serve Eusoff Hall by capturing memories and making those memories accessible to Eusoffians.

Eusoff Expeditions

Does overseas service learning (usually in Cambodia), collects funds/items for this purpose.

Eusoff Green Committee (EGC)

Aims to bring an environment-friendly living into Eusoff Hall and advocates the need to conserve energy, minimize waste and to be environmentally aware in the residents ‘daily lifestyle.

Eusoff Hall Orientation Committee (EHOC)

Organises orientation programmes for freshmen, forms a team to take part in the annual NUS Rag & Flag. Has 3 groups; Programme, Rag, Flag.

Eusoff Publications

Keeps residents updated with recent happenings through publications i.e. bulletins/magazines and yearbook.

Eusoff Voluntary Corps (EVC)

Provides service to needy organizations and the community, organizes special projects to raise funds for charity.

Finance Committee

Handles finance procedures of hall committees under direction of the Finance Director.

International Relations Committee (IRC)

Promotes understanding between international and local students while helping international students adapt and feel welcome in Singapore.

Junior Common Room Committee (JCRC)

Manages the various committees in Eusoff Hall and works closely with Senior Common Room Committee (SCRC) in various hall matters.

Performing Arts Groups

Holds public performances under the hall’s banner through the Band, Choir, Eusoff Dance, Drama and A capella.

Secretariat

Handles secretariat matters i.e. collecting minutes, documentations, providing stationery etc.

Social Service Committee

Promotes volunteerism among residents in hall by offering them a chance to serve the community.

Sports Management Committee (SMC)

Promotes sporting excellence in hall and provides necessary support for Inter Hall Games (IHG) purposes.

Student Affairs Committee (SAC)

Caters to the social needs of residents through programmes and events.
