The man of the match, or woman in this case was undoubtedly Wanyi, who put up a fantastic show and was an essential part of the team, splits and all. This is all the more sweet considering that Wanyi and Captain Royston Tan had to fight hard all-week to ensure that Wanyi could deservedly play her role in the semis as KE7 had tried to ban her from the competition. We have seen the video of the alleged violence and really, it is rather embarrassing for a man to complain about something so insignificant as a pat. Even the sun was relentless on this day of our epic battle against the squirmy red of KE7. But that mattered little to our awesome team of heroes who were already two tones darker from pre-season days, having spent long hours training in similar conditions. Our second softball match was against defending champions KE7. This was the match to watch as it had it all; home runs, dubious umpiring, tempers running high and a fight almost breaking out. However amidst all this, our Eusoff softball team kept their cool and sent the defending champions home with nothing but the mud on their shorts.
