MEN:   Disturbingly slender and sleepy-looking, Renji seems to be in a perpetual daze. BUT! Don’t let his drug-addict appearance fool you, this lanky leader packs quite a punch in the sporting arena. Like his female counterpart, Aisyah, Renji juggles multiple commitments, including Head of Expeditions, Vice-Head of SMC Publicity, Head of IBG committee… ETC. ETC. ETC. And yet he still finds the time to captain Floorball, a sport no doubt near and dear to him. Our reporter speaks to this tall, dark and handsome busy bee.

Jingwen: What is your history/experience with Floorball? 

Renji: Short history, good experience. (This reporter was told to say that the guy’s captain is apparently a mysterious player where nothing is known of his past. How…mysterious.) 

JW: Why did you choose to captain the team and what makes you a good choice? 

Rj: I love the game and I love the hall. (Wah… Patriotic sia…)

JW: Any goals/objectives for this year’s IHG Floorball? Especially since it’ll be the first time floorball will be incorporated officially into IHG? 

Rj: Winning was fun. We are out to have as much fun as possible. 

JW: How do you intend on going about achieving these goals?

Rj: 3 As. Attitude. Aptitude. Alcohol. (Shhh!! Master will read this!)

JW: What’s your favourite type of/ ideal player? 

Rj: A cripz. (For those who are uninformed, a “cripz” is a girl. Usually a pretty smokin’ hot one too.) 

JW: Would you rather have 20 enthusiastic beginners or 10 bored but highly skilled players? 

Rj: I rather have 1 Jasmeet Singh. (Awww… Renji has a crush…)

JW: Any quotes or last words for your IHG Floorball team 0809? 

Rj: Play with your heart and move your body to the rhythm of your soul, for floorball is but a dance between two teams. And whoever dances better wins.
