Basketball Men Captain Interview
MEN: This shy and relatively quiet Year 1 Real Estate student is a man of few words but secretly likes to talk cock. Judging from IBG, this is one talented basketball player! He was obviously tired and sleepy but nevertheless took some time to answer our reporter’s questions. What a gentleman!
Jacqueline: Why did you decide to take on the role of captain?
Jia Kai: (Thinks hard) Because I have the passion and I want to cultivate a basketball spirit in Eusoff. This is possibly one of the last few times where a group of people can train together passionately as a team. So should make full use of it and treasure the experience.
Jac: As a freshie, do you foresee any problems in terms of leadership?
JK: Maybe winning the hearts of the team but that shouldn’t be a problem since we are going to train together for quite some time.
Jac: What tends to motivate you the most?
JK: (Violently objects when I try to suggest girls) The team. Because if the team is hardworking it’ll push me even more.
Jac: Is winning very important to you?
JK: (Thinks deeply) Winning is important! (Slams table… Very drama…) But enjoying the game with the team is more important.
Jac: What other sports do you plan to join?
JK: Handball – it’s something new I’ll like to try. Takraw – a chance to make use of my feet. Still got others but still thinking.
Jac: What is considered a good basketballer?
JK: Must be disciplined, must have the desire to improve himself and able to accept advice from anyone who means well. Oh and be a team player, and knows how to talk cock (??).
Jac: How do you find Eusoff so far?
JK: Great! The people here are very friendly, easy to mix around with. They are an outgoing bunch and like to chit chat!
Jac: So, are you attached?
JK: No. (This reporter wonders why he doesn’t elaborate)
Jac: Criteria for potential girlfriend?
JK: Homely girl, girl next door. Don’t necessarily have to be sporty. Chemistry is important.
